The post’s type must be enabled in the plugin settings. If the post has no video, nothing is shown. [rsfv_by_postid] shows videos from draft, private, or password protected posts only to people who can see those posts.
In the block editor or Site Editor, use the Featured Video block instead.
Player settings
Both shortcodes accept these attributes. Leave one out to use the global setting from JetixWP → Featured Video → Controls.

- Add the Really Simple Featured Video widget. Set Video Source to Current Post or By Post ID.
- With Current Post, you can pick the video in the widget. It is saved to the post’s Featured Video box too.
- Elementor Pro Posts, Archive Posts, and Featured Image widgets show the video automatically.
If your site logo or other images get replaced by a video, turn on Disable Elementor Support under JetixWP → Featured Video → Elementor.
Bricks
Add the Really Simple Featured Video element from the Media group. It shows the current post’s video, or the featured image when there is no video. It works well inside Query Loops.
