This guide is for RSFV PRO. PRO is an add-on, so keep the free Really Simple Featured Video plugin installed and active.
Requirements
- Really Simple Featured Video (free) 0.81.0 or newer. PRO analytics needs 0.90.0 or newer, and Video Studio PRO needs 1.0.0 or newer, so use the latest version.
- WordPress 6.3 or newer (needed by the free plugin), PHP 8.0 or newer.
- An RSFV PRO license from jetixwp.com.
Download PRO
- Log in to your Account. Your login details are emailed to you after purchase.
- Open Downloads and download the latest version of RSFV PRO. The file is
rsfv-pro.zip.
Install and activate
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
- Choose
rsfv-pro.zip, click Install Now, then Activate. - When asked, enter your license key. You can find it under Account → Licenses.
To confirm it worked, open JetixWP → Featured Video. A green PRO badge shows in the header, and fields marked “Pro” can now be changed.
If you see a notice
If PRO cannot find a suitable free plugin, it shows a notice starting with “[Pro] Really Simple Featured Video is not working” and a button to fix it.

| Activate RSFV Now | The free plugin is installed but not active. |
| Update RSFV Now | The free plugin is too old for PRO. |
If the free plugin works with PRO but is older than 1.0.0, a shorter notice on the Plugins screen says Video Studio PRO needs Really Simple Featured Video 1.0.0 or newer. The rest of PRO keeps working.
Updates and rollback
PRO updates appear on the Plugins screen like any other plugin while your license is active.
To go back to an earlier PRO version, open JetixWP → Featured Video → Rollbacks. Under Rollback RSFV Pro, pick a version and click Reinstall this version. This needs an active license and an administrator account.
