Manage and Bulk Upload Audio with Audio Tools

Open JetixWP → Audio Tools. It has three tabs: Manage Featured Audios, Bulk upload, and Analytics. This page covers the first two. For the third, see Audio analytics.

Manage Featured Audios

A table of posts for each enabled post type. You can:

  • Filter by post type, search by title, and show 10, 20, 50, or 100 rows per page.
  • Switch a row between Self Hosted and Embed.
  • Upload, change, or remove an audio file, or enter an audio link and click Save.
  • Set or remove the cover image and the featured image.
  • Listen to each audio in the Audio column.

Changes are saved to the post right away. You do not need to open the post editor.

Bulk upload

Open the Bulk upload tab, choose the post type, then pick a method.

Add by hand

  • Drop up to 200 audio files, or paste up to 200 audio links, one per line.
  • In the next step, pick the post or product for each audio.

  • If a row names a file such as intro.mp3, drop that file together with the CSV.
  • A file can be up to 2 MB and hold up to 10,000 rows. TXT files can use tabs. Blank lines and lines starting with # are skipped.
  • A row without a post is thrown away, and its file is never uploaded.

Check and save

  1. Click Check rows. Each row is marked Ready, Will replace, or Discarded with the reason.
  2. Click Upload and set audios. If some rows replace existing audio, confirm with Replace and continue.
  3. When it finishes, click Download report to keep a record.

To start again with another method or post type, click Start over.
