RSFA shows the player where your theme outputs the featured image, so most themes work without any setup. For themes that need extra fixes, RSFA includes a theme compatibility engine.
Theme Compatibility Engine
Go to JetixWP → Featured Audio → General → Theme Compatibility Engine.
- Status shows the engine that is running.
- Set engine chooses the engine:
| Choice | What it does |
|---|---|
| Auto (Do it for me) | Picks the engine for your active theme. This is the default. |
| Default | The fallback for themes without their own engine. |
| Disabled (Legacy) | Turns engines off. |
Auto recognises child themes whose folder name ends in -child, such as astra-child. For other child themes, pick your parent theme’s engine by hand.
If the player does not show correctly, set it to Auto first. If that does not help, try Default.
