This guide is for RSFA PRO. PRO is an add-on, so keep the free Really Simple Featured Audio plugin installed and active.
Requirements
- Really Simple Featured Audio (free) 1.6.0 or newer. PRO still loads on free 1.4.0 and 1.5.x, but most PRO features switch off without a notice, so update the free plugin first.
- WordPress 6.0 or newer, PHP 8.0 or newer.
- An RSFA PRO license from jetixwp.com.
Download PRO
- Log in to your Account. Your login details are emailed to you after purchase.
- Open Downloads and download the latest version of RSFA PRO. The file is
rsfa-pro.zip.
Install and activate
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
- Choose
rsfa-pro.zip, click Install Now, then Activate. - When asked, enter your license key. You can find it under Account → Licenses.
To confirm it worked, open JetixWP → Featured Audio. A green Pro badge shows next to the page title, fields marked “Pro” can now be changed, and the Help and Upgrade tabs are gone.
If you see a notice
If PRO cannot find a suitable free plugin, it shows a notice with a button to fix it.

| Activate RSFA Now | The free plugin is installed but not active. |
| Update RSFA Now | The free plugin is older than 1.4.0. |
Updates and rollback
PRO updates appear on the Plugins screen like any other plugin while your license is active.
To go back to an earlier PRO version, open JetixWP → Featured Audio → Rollbacks. Under Rollback RSFA Pro, pick a version and click Reinstall this version. This needs an active license and an administrator account.
